Default Golden Oldies

hey,
i was just watching my little brother plodd around on my old pony today and it made me think. who else out their has storys about their good old horses. you know the ones that just keep going no matter what. the ones that allow little children to pull them around and wave things around their faces and enerally look after their little passengers.
My golden oldie, is a little Palomino mare named Honey. When i bought her she was said to be 14, so thinking she was only 14 she got lugged off to pony club, trail riding, you name it. she even did the 7hour Kilkiven trail ride twice. as one of my first ponies she tought me alot. it wasnt till just last year that it was exposed she is actually 35. (pretty good to still be alive!) so when we bought she had to be at least 28! so we unnowingly lugged this 28 yr old pony around to pony club and whatever. mind you though she didnt exactly act like a 28 yr old. she still bolted with the other horses and ducked her head if shed had enough of her rider, and all the other things a normal young pony would do.
anyway shes still runnin around in the paddock and giving pony rides to my 3yr old brother. she even ends up carring my nervous 15 yr old non riding friends out on trail rides.
i attached a photo of her below, shes still in pretty good condition for a 35 yr oldd pony thats not rugged and lives on grass and water.

if you have any nice oldy stories let my now, i think their really nice.
