Default Some basic rules

Hello and welcome to the dressageIT forum. To make sure everybody using the forum finds it a positive experience, we have a few rules for you to follow while you are in here.
  • No sales ads. You can't offer your horse, your saddlery, your spouse or your children for sale. Or anything else, either. Wanted ads are allowed in the Wanted forum, but are restricted to personal requests. Items offered at no charge (other than postage if relevant) may be listed in the Give Away forum.
  • No gratuitous self-promotion of your business. By all means respond to messages that ask for recommendations if your business can supply the goods or services, but you must declare any interest in any responses.
  • No reposting of material from other web sites without acknowledging permission obtained from the copyright owner.
  • Photos posted must be your own intellectual property.
  • No spam.
  • No flames. No personal attacks will be tolerated.
  • No bad language.
  • No SMS text in posts. We have members and lurkers who are sight-impaired and rely on screen readers to decipher posts. Please spell all words out in full and also check your posts for spelling errors. Near enough is good enough may be good enough for you, but those who rely on screen readers won't be able to make any sense of your messages at all.
  • Clubs: feel free to post a note about your upcoming event, but only if you have provided a competition schedule for uploading to the DressageIT schedules page. The post must contain a link to the DressageIT schedules page and may link to one other download site, such as your club's website. The post cannot constitute an ad, i.e. no list of events or features.
